Digital distribution website, STEAM, has started the ball rolling ahead of the Holiday season with a series of special offers on selected PC titles that will change each day and will run for five days only.
Currently there are some amazing deals, including GRID for just ?3.74, Batman Arkham Asylum for ?14.99 and Far Cry 2: Fortune’s Edition for just ?9.99.
By far the biggest savings though come in the form of the Lucas Arts Premier Pack which has now been reduced to ?34.99 from ?87.84 and includes the likes of Star Wars Galaxies, Armed & Dangerous and The Knights of the Old Republic.
THQ also have a special pack of its games available. Over 15 games, including Dawn of War II, Red Faction Guerilla and STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl are available for just ?26.49. That’s 50% of the original RRP.
Keep your eyes peeled, more offers will be available over the next few days.

Now if that Lucasarts pack had *any* of their good games like the X-Wing and Tie fighter series, it’d be worth it. As it stands, a load of guff.

Just bought GRID, i’ll give it a whirl. At under ?4, it’s cheaper than those nothingy ‘value’ games on shelves in PC World / Staples etc Quote
